Pre-Care
- Avoid sun exposure at least 2 weeks prior to treatment.
- Avoid active skincare 1 week prior: retinol, tretinoin, AHAs, salicylic acid, exfoliants.
- No spray tans or self-tanner on treatment area.
- Arrive with a clean, makeup-free skin.
- Tie hair back.
- If working out day-of, do it before your appointment.
- Avoid Accutane for 6 months prior.
Post-Care
- Skin may feel like a mild sunburn for 2-5 days.
- Skin may feel tight → use gentle moisturizer.
- Avoid active skincare for 1 week (no retinol/glycolic).
- Avoid sun exposure + tanning beds for 1 week.
- Wear SPF daily starting next day.
- Makeup can be worn next day.
- Cleanse after 24 hours with gentle cleanser (no exfoliation).
- Use clean towel + pillowcase.
- Always wash hands before touching skin.
